Weather has cleared for a 3am summit attempt!!!
After waiting it out for a couple of days Wendy and Brooke awoke Friday morning to blue sky and sunshine and will be going for their summit attempt starting at 3am Saturday morning their time which is 3pm Friday afternoon our time (Pacific standard time) With their time window running out and the insanity of being stuck in a tent for multiple days (not to mention Wendys gummy bear supply running low) Wendy and Brooke caught the break they were hoping for, so let’s everyone keep them in your thoughts as you go about your Friday afternoon and hope for their long journey to reach it’s goal atop Baruntse at 7,220 metres (23,688 ft) Climb on girls!!!

Funny how I just checked out your blog for updates as its 3:12 p.m., which means you are just venturing off for your summit attempt. You and Brooke are in my thoughts, much good vibes going your way!

heyy… did you already climb this one or are you going to..? i hope you have a fun time climbing..?
